Eco Guardians - National Theatre for Children Show

The National Theatre for Children will be at our school on Thursday, Feb. 29th.  They will put on a 25-minute show presents a lesson in energy efficiency. It follows the quirky, hardworking Harmonica Mars as they learn about energy efficiency.

The sketches focus on the following educational points:
  • How we measure energy use
  • How energy is wasted
  • How we conserve energy
  • What renewable resources are
Families can access some fun learning that ties with the show at this website:  https://ntcplayworks.com/wppi-student/

This presentation is sponsored by Kaukauna Utilities and WPPI and is of no cost to the school.  Thank you Kaukauna Utilities!

Wisconsin Forward Exam Testing

With the state testing window is right around the corner! We're gearing up for an exciting opportunity for our students to shine and show what they've learned.

Your child's attendance during this time is super important, so they can give their best on test day. We appreciate your efforts to avoid absences during the testing window—it truly makes a difference in our school's success!

Thanks for your ongoing support and partnership. Let's make this testing period a positive experience for everyone!

Color Run

EQ School Store

Each day at Quinney School, staff are looking to recognize students who are demonstrating positive behaviors. There are three main school-wide behavioral expectations at Quinney School: Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. Students who make positive behavior choices are acknowledged in a variety of ways. Some of these acknowledgements include: earning character coins and tickets, being recognized as the Quinney Student of the Month, classroom rewards and all-school rewards.

This year we have implemented a new Quinney School Store for students to use their earned coins converted to tickets (5 coins = 1 ticket) to purchase items at the school store. The school store is run by 4th grade students and is in full swing! Our goal for the students is to decide if they want to have an instant reward or learn to save for a bigger reward. We will also have a raffle drawing from all the tickets each month for larger prizes and recognition.

To be able to continue with the Quinney School Store incentive this year, we are looking for donations. We have created an Amazon Wishlist to make it easy for you. The wish list includes smaller items for the school store and bigger items for the raffle. You can order directly from Amazon and the item can be shipped to Quinney. Click here “Quinney School Store & Raffle” to bring you to the direct Amazon Wishlist link. When you checkout, select to have your order shipped to Electa Quinney. Please check “yes” to the gift receipt so we can be sure to thank you for your support and donation.

Thank you so much!
