November Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences
Click this blue link to sign-up or verify your sign-up for Fall 21-22 Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences. We will be holding the conferences virtually with a Google Meet this fall. Although we will not meet in person, families should still "sign-up" for a time so that you can have an uninterrupted time with your child's teacher.
IMPORTANT - When arriving at the linked website, FIRST click the TAB at the top of the page for the teacher/classroom you are wishing to schedule a conference. Once you have chosen the correct tab for the classroom/teacher, click Sign-Up next to the time you prefer from the available slots and then click Submit and Sign-up at the bottom of the page. This will bring up a box that will ask you for your student’s name. You are not required to enter your email address or sign up for an account with Sign-Up Genius. However, if you do enter your e-mail information you will receive a reminder 1 day prior to the conference date. If you already have a Sign-Up Genius account, make that choice and enter your login information. *Please note that some parent student teacher conferences have already been scheduled with a teacher/specialist. If your child's teacher already called/e-mailed you to schedule a conference, disregard this message as our conference will already be held/listed on the site.
Once you are finished, click Sign Up Now, and the process is complete.
PurposeFull People...help young people become more resilient, generous, and emotionally intelligent?
This month we’re talking about Gratitude!
The dictionary defines it as: “the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for
and to return kindness.” The definition we are using in class is:
Gratitude: choosing to notice and appreciate things in our life, things in others, and things in the world.
We want to make sure we share with students that Gratitude is 1) a choice that we get to make over and over again on where we put our
focus and 2) doesn’t always have to be about something positive. We can feel grateful even for tough or challenging things in our life!
There is plenty of research that shows a strong connection between Gratitude and reduced anxiety, increased happiness, and better
relationships. Over the course of the month, we will talk about amazing people who demonstrate Gratitude in various ways. We will
talk about what we are grateful for in ourselves and in others. And we will even find Gratitude in some things we wouldn’t expect to be
thankful for!

Community Events and Activity Flyers
There are a great many worthy undertakings in the Kaukauna Area School District that understandably deserve public support. The Board of Education/School District assist with this process in providing notice to students and/or families of certain non-school-related community activities/programs that are for public school-age students (that apply and meet policy conditions). Click here or visit the school district website to view the up to date list of events and flyers.
