Kaukauna Future Strong Summit - LAST CALL
You are invited to participate in the Future Strong Summit to help shape the future of the Kaukauna Area School District. The purpose of this 3-day event is to collaborate with our community to develop a clear strategic direction for the future of the Kaukauna Area School District. We need your voice and unique perspective to be heard! Just a reminder that there is one week left to RSVP for the Future Strong Summit on April 26, 27 and 29.
If you are planning to attend, but haven't submitted an RSVP yet, please do so using this link: https://forms.gle/ HzLmYLf4vyypyWuQ6
Discuss with your student things you both would’ve liked to do, but find intimidating. Maybe it’s a new hobby, sharing your art or invention with others, or going on an adventure somewhere. Go out there and give it a try, then take a selfie to capture the memory!
Conversation Starters:
- What are some changes we have had here at home? How do you think you handled those changes?
- How does using flexible thinking and showing Courage help us work through the changes in our life?
Color Run
Save the date on your calendar - Our end of the year celebratory Color Run event will be held in the early evening on Thursday, May 18th. This will be our 5th annual Electa Quinney Color Run! This year the color run will be in the evening for both students and families to participate. The run/walk will take place around Electa Quinney School (typically a 1.5 mi format). Participants will be showered with colored powder, made of food-grade corn starch, at color stations along the route. We refrain from booklet sale fundraisers and use this as our main fundraiser; beyond the cost of materials and the event, the remainder goes to benefit the students supporting end of the year activities and future events such as teacher classroom materials, student birthday books, speakers, field trips and assemblies, family/community events, and more.
