What is a Dine Out Night?

These restaurant nights are quick and easy fundraisers organized by the Quinney PAC. They are completely optional and no pressure to attend.

Some families have busy schedules and will opt not to go. That’s great! Some families don’t know what to do for dinner so they enjoy Dine Out Nights. That’s great too! Some restaurants require flyers or specific coupons to be used to earn the funds. Others want families to notify cashiers they are from Quinney School.

Tom’s Drive In does not require a flyer. Please tell the cashier (dine in or drive thru) that you are with Quinney School if your family attends this week on Tues. Oct. 25th. The money earned goes toward PAC projects like Artist in Residence (Coming to Quinney in Nov!), classroom supplies, teacher requests, playground equipment, and much more. There will be other restaurant options throughout the year. Thank you for supporting if it works for your family! -- EQ PAC

Monday, October 31st -- Celebrating Fall!

We will celebrate the fall season on Monday, October 31st with some special classroom time set aside with activities and treats.  Classroom teachers will determine the time frame for these activities and communicate them with parents.  We ask that students not wear Halloween costumes/make-up to school and instead invite them to wear their favorite fall color if they would like.  Holidays vary for all families and students and each sparks so much joy and creativity for adults and children. For our families that celebrate Halloween we hope you and your family have a fun and safe celebration that evening or earlier in October!

November Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences dates are around the corner.  Here is the organization for conferences this fall...
  • Tuesday, Nov. 15 - 4:30-7:00 - In-person
  • Thursday, Nov. 17 - 4:30-7:00 - Virtual
  • Friday, Nov. 18 - 12:30-4:00 - In-person
As parents you will be able to sign up for a conference time online with Sign-Up Genius just as you did in prior years.  We will send the sign-up information via an E-mail message from Parent Portal on November 4th.

October Focus = REPONSIILITY

  • Family Challenge:
  • We have all demonstrated Responsibility in our lives. Many of us have seen people practice Responsibility in ways that have inspired us. Stories are powerful tools for connecting as a family. Protect time this week to share stories about Responsibility with each other (you can use the story prompts to get started). At the end of the conversation, think of 1 way you can practice Responsibility this week.

  • Story Prompts:

  • ● A time I (or someone else) showed Responsibility was _____.

  • ● An act of Responsibility that changed/challenged me was _____.

Community Events and Activity Flyers

There are a great many worthy undertakings in the Kaukauna Area School District that understandably deserve public support. The Board of Education/School District assist with this process in providing notice to students and/or families of certain non-school-related community activities/programs that are for public school-age students (that apply and meet policy conditions). Click here or visit the school district website to view the up to date list of events and flyers
