Electa Quinney is celebrating Walk to School Day on Wednesday, Oct. 12!
How can students participate?
BRING A SIGNED PERMISSION SLIP ON OCTOBER 12TH TO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TO PARTICIPATE -
** Students who walk/bike to school on a daily basis bring a signed permission slip on Oct. 12 to get entered into a drawing for participation while adhering to their normal daily route.
** Students can be dropped off/meet at one of the locations listed below with their signed permission slip between 7:15-7:20 a.m. on the morning of Oct. 12th to begin their walking route to school with a group from one of these Kaukauna locations-
Jonen Park (on Fieldcrest; will use tunnel to cross CE)
Fieldcrest Park (corner of Main and Frances; will use tunnel to cross CE)
Little Tykes Tot Lot (corner of Joshua and Travis)
Family Video Parking Lot (on Crooks Avenue, next to Dicks Drive Inn)
There will be supervision during the walk provided by Quinney staff.
We will have have local leaders joining us at some of the times and locations for this event including Mayor Penterman, Kaukauna Police Department Officers, and Kaukauna Firefighters.
** Students who are bused to school and not able to meet at the locations to walk together to school or students who are unable to participate that morning, can walk the sidewalks bordering the playground during their grade level recess to show their participation in being active for health and recreation (permission slip will be their entry into the drawing).

Picture Re-Take Day - Oct. 11
Network Photography will be at EQ/NDLC on Wednesday, Oct. 11th to take school pictures for those that were unable to be at the August picture dates and will be taking retakes as well. They share the information below to help families know what is needed in each case.
STUDENTS THAT WERE NOT PHOTOGRAPHED IN AUGUST:
If students have not been photographed this school year, please be prepared to have a photograph taken on re-take day. All students must be photographed. Portraits will be needed for your school’s database.
STUDENTS THAT WOULD LIKE RE-TAKE PHOTOS:
If you want a re-take of your student’s original portrait, please return the original package in its entirety to the photographer on re-take day. A replacement package will be printed and delivered to the school with your student’s new image. If you did not purchase photos from the original picture day and want a re-take, please have the student’s picture taken.
