Homecoming Week is Here!!!

During the week of Sept. 23rd-27th, Electa Quinney Elementary will be celebrating homecoming along with the High School.  To help all of our elementary students to feel a part of the festivities, we will have dress-up days as follows:

Monday, Sept. 23 :   Hat/Crazy Hair Day
Tuesday, Sept. 24 :   Crazy Sock Day
Wednesday, Sept. 25 :   (Parade Day) Quinney Shirt (or orange/black)
Thursday, Sept. 26 :   Disney/Superhero Day
Friday, Sept. 27 :   Orange/Black Kaukauna Spirit Wear

In addition, all schools are again invited to walk in the parade to support their school and the team. The parade will take place on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00 PM.  We recognize that Wednesday is the night of Religious Education classes for some of our students which may prohibit participation for some families. The homecoming plans are directed by the high school and we are appreciative of the opportunity to participate.

If you would like to walk with your child in the parade please feel free to join us by meeting at the Holy Cross/St. Ignatius playground at 5:15 PM on Wednesday.  Children must have a parent/adult walking with them in the parade.  Several of the children will have the opportunity to carry the school banner since we will be switching off throughout the parade. Click here for further information.

Tuesday - Parent Advisory Committee Meeting

Come join us for the first PAC Meeting! Tuesday, September 24, 6-7 p.m. in the Library Media Center. We need you at PAC! We have such a great team and wonderful plan for this year's Electa Quinney PAC! It will be easy to join the group at this time. We will work together to provide awesome events and school spirit and support. Volunteering with the PAC can be so rewarding to you, to your children and our staff. Why should you come to this meeting? Being a part of PAC and volunteering with Quinney helps your child, our teachers and staff, and provides a sense of community and family for our school. I hope to see you there!

Community Events and Activity Flyers

There are a great many worthy undertakings in the Kaukauna Area School District that understandably deserve public support. The Board of Education/School District assist with this process in providing notice to students and/or families of certain non-school-related community activities/programs that are for public school-age students (that apply and meet policy conditions).Click here or visit the school district website to view the up to date list of events and flyers.
